Vintage 1940's fire helmet, no cracks or damage to shell. Liner is the WW2 type web strap and leather head band suspension liner .Leather chin strap. Rear of helmet has the D ring attached to hang the helmet. The shell appears to have no peeling or cracking. Overall this helmet looks very nice for the age of it but, I am not an expert on these helmets and so please take a look at the detailed photos for condition.
