#1154 dual element 6 volt bulbs.  Note in the picture that the 1154's have staggered pins.  The technical term is "indexed."  Why are they staggered ?  Good question.  The two elements are of different candle power.  The indexed pins allow the bulb to go in only one way.  That way the 21 candle power element always functions as the brake light the brake light and the 3 candle power element functions as the tail light.   These bulbs haven't been laying around since the 1950's.  They are
current production
using modern techniques and material.  The elements are evenly wound and securely attached to the supports to give bright uniform light and long life.  Strong modern adhesives bond the globe to the base.  If you have old bulbs (or poorly made modern bulbs) the globe may twist in the base when the adhesive fails.  You may have noticed this happening when you try to remove an old bulb.   (That's always fun getting the old base out.)   Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed or your money quickly and cheerfully refunded.  I have many different and hard to find 6 volt bulbs.  .  Bruce in Joliet, Illinois      Just a note.  About the bulb markings.   On your old #1154's you might see letters such as W, GE, TS, or G.  This is just the manufacturer......Westinghouse, General Electric, Tung Sol, or Guide.
